My Favorite Blogs
Even though blogging is so crowded these days, and it seems like new ways to create content pop up every day, I still find myself checking in on my favorite blogs. Often, these are blogs that I've read for years, long before blogging as a career was even a possibility. There is something special about following a blog for so long, as you feel like you have a sort of friendship or connection with the blogger.
I thought that today I would share 5 of my favorite blogs with you, and invite you to share yours with me in the comments. This might be the type of post that deserves a round 2 and round 3 because there are truly so many that I love, and it was difficult to narrow it down to just 5! These are in no particular order, and were the first 5 that came to mind when I was planning this post.
1. Love Taza
This is a blog that I've read for years, and one that I always find myself checking in on. Naomi, the writer, started blogging way back when a blog was just an online journal. She has the ability to make everyday things seem magical and wonderful, and I just love her way of seeing the glass half full, and celebrating life and motherhood.
This is my go-to blog for crafty inspiration! Tons of DIY projects, room tours, decor inspiration, and recipes - it's a great one for creative types. Elsie and Emma are #sistergoals and I love their fun, colorful style.
If you want to make your home more pinterest-worthy but are completely clueless about how to do renovations, this is the blog for you. YHL was started by a couple who documented the process of renovating their first home, and they've done it for their other 2 homes as well now. Not only are their tutorials thorough and detailed, their personalities are also really funny.
4. A Cup Of Jo
This was (I think) the first blog I ever started reading regularly waaaayyy back in the day. Joanna Goddard is the blogger behind A Cup of Jo, and her blog covers a variety of interesting topics from fashion to motherhood to travel. It's so easy to get lost there for hours clicking away at post after post. One of my all-time faves!
This is my go-to blog for home decor inspiration. The homes that they feature on Apartment Therapy are interesting and eclectic (nothing cookie cutter, nothing beige!). I also love this blog because they feature a lot of vintage houses like mine so it's a great place to browse for ideas.
