Hexagons Crochet Blanket

Now that things are back to normal...I'm back to crocheting!

I learned how to make sunburst granny squares a few weeks back (really fun to make, btw!), and I decided to mix things up and finish them off with a hexagon border rather than a square, which I've been seeing on Pinterest a lot lately.

You would think after my last big crochet project, that I would want a break from granny squares to do something more simple, like a scarf, but I can't help it. Granny squares are my favorite!

I have a long way to go on this blanket (you can follow along on Instagram to see it progress), but these cheerful bright colors, and all of the combos that can be made with them, make me so happy already. I got all of the yarn from loveknitting.com - choosing a color palette took me about a million years, but I am very happy with the look. I will have a full list of exact colors and brands once I complete the project.

I hope you had a great weekend - what are you working on this week?
